Autumn League of Kanto University

Yokosuka Arena
I went to watch the Autumn League of Kanto University for two days on October 7th and 8th. These games were held at my town Yokosuka. It was good opportunity as the venue was Yokosuka Arena, which is about 15 minutes from my house. It was the first division games that were held. On October 7th,  I was able to watch only the last game because I had class up to the 4th period. On the 8th, I watched two games because I had a part time job.


On the 7th. I watched the game of Tsukuba University vs Nihon University. Tsukuba University was the champion of the Autumn League of Kanto University last year, Nihon University was ranked 8th. The result was 80 - 69, Tsukuba University won! Tsukuba University's fourth year player, Yudai Baba became a B-League player. It's strong. The pressure of defense of Tsukuba University was strong and there were many steals. Since I'm not good at defense, I learned a lot.
Aoyama Gakuin vs Meiji

The next game was Aoyama Gakuin University vs Meiji University. There are many players from Kanagawa at these two universities. There are two players from Yokosuka. Three players from Toko Gakuen High School, who I played in a retirement game during my high school gays, were in Meiji University. The result was 72 - 64, Aoyama Gakuin University won. The dribble skill and one-on-one level were high. I thought that I would like to acquire more dribbling skills.

At the end of day on the 8th, Tsukuba University ranked second, Meiji University ranked 4th, Aoyama Gakuin University ranked 6th, and Nihon University ranked 9th. There are 10 universities in the first division, but it is a close contest, so I'm looking forward to seeing who will win.

Game Of Yokosuka League

There was a game on November 26. Last year, the opponent was the 2nd place finisher in the Yokosuka League and has won the tournament in the Spring. It was a strong team with some players belonging to National Sports Festival Player (国体選手) and the club team in Yokohama City who participated  in national sport meeting, but some of them wasn't gathering. Thanks to that, it made me to feel comfortable challenging them in a game. I would like to introduce this game. In the first half, we didn't take the ball to the hole very easily, so it was a low score game. The result of the first half was that we leaded 28-24. In the second half, the opponent didn't have its main members, so my team dominated the game. My Little Brother's Game

I went to cheer for my little brother's game. This game is a preliminary game in Kanagawa Prefecture. This preliminary games are held in Kanagawa Prefecture divided into four in east, west, north and south. When I was a high school student, the preliminary games were held in each city, such as Yokosuka City. There are few high schools such as Yokosuka City, so it was collected in four in Kanagawa. My little brother is in the second grade in high school. He is a captain on his basketball club. His height is about 177 cm and his position is the shooting guard, the same position as my position.
